Support Fire Marshal, Jackielou Mozes, in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer!
Dear Community,
With heavy hearts, we share the news that our dedicated Fire Marshal, Jackielou Mozes, has recently been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. As she courageously begins her fight, we stand united to support her through this challenging journey. With two decades of service, Jackielou has been an invaluable member of our department, cherished by our fire family and community alike.
Please join us in sending positive vibes and well wishes to Jackielou as she embarks on this journey towards healing.
In addition, the IMFD Benevolent is organizing a fundraiser selling t-shirts and stickers, with all proceeds going directly to Jackielou.
Starting Monday, April 8, if you'd like to show your support and purchase a shirt and/or a sticker, you can do so by stopping by IMFD Station #74, located at 6061 South Pointe Blvd., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please see Lani to place your order.
All orders must be paid for when placed. Once the shirts are ready for pick-up, we'll notify you. Please be aware that at this time, we're only accepting cash and check payments and are unable to offer shipping. Our sticker shipment has not come in yet, when it does, we will update you.
The 60/40 poly/cotton blend shirt options are:

We know CPR is important and the use of an AED can make all the difference. But how do you find an AED if you need it?
Lee County has launched a HeartSmart initiative. They have requested that AED's be registered so that 911 Call Takers have the ability to instruct callers on the location of a nearby AED and provide lifesaving instructions on the AEDs usage.
